Folks, I think it might be time to consider another recall effort.

The idea just might be more palpable this time around, given the general dissatisfaction with county government that can be felt just about everywhere outside of the county union halls.
What's more, what happens in the aftermath of the 2010 race for governor, when the man running the show in Milwaukee County will probably be none other than Lee Holloway?

The prospect of Scott Walker leaving Milwaukee County, either in victory or defeat in his race for governor, is quite frighting for Milwaukee County. Simply put, Walker is the man with his finger in the dam, holding back the flood of taxes and spending that a majority of those in county government have been salivating for over the last seven years. The problem is that seven years of Scott Walker has resulted in a great deal of pent-up lust for taxes and spending by men and women like Lee Holloway who to-date have been somewhat suppressed by Walker, the man with the finger in the dam.

We complain now, but the dam is merely leaking. What happens when Walker leaves and dam bursts? Are we prepared for the tidal wave?

Please note that I have zero experience when it comes to recall efforts of elected officials. This is why I turn to CRG, who has experience with such matters. It's been done once, can it be attempted again?
