SHOW UP AND SHOW YOU CARE OR SUFFER HIGHER TAXES WHILE THE COUNTY BOARD LAUGHS AT YOU!

Each year, the ethically challenged Milwaukee County Board (the one that elected Lee Holloway, the most ethically challenged county supervisor in history, as its leader) holds an annual meeting where every tax spending special interest shows up to rationalize why they shouldn't have to share the pain of budget cuts.

The whole meeting is a sham, a show put on by the county board to pretend it listens to or it cares about taxpayers. It doesn't! Consider the following.

1. The County Board has been given the authority to raise property taxes as much as 28%! Why?

2. The County Board has proposed tripling the county sales tax.

3. The County Board has proposed imposing a $20 Wheel Tax on your car.

4. The County Board approves wages and benefits for government employees that are above what is generally available to the taxpaying public.

5. The county is broke yet the County Board is proposing adding new benefits for government employees.

6. The taxpaying public is suffering 10% unemployment but county government is not.

In short, the county board under Lee Holloway sees government as a tool of LEGAL EXTORTION to PUT GOVERNMENT FIRST and KEEP TAXPAYERS last. Oh, and one more thing. When was the last time you, as a taxpayer, received so much as a thank you for the over one-billion dollars you send to the county each year?

THINK ABOUT IT. THEN ACT!
